At Rescue One More, we help child survivors of sexual violence access child protection services, legal support, counseling, and advocacy through a coordinated response that places the child’s safety and well-being first.

Investigation and Evidence Collection Support

In many communities, law enforcement officers face significant resource constraints that can delay child protection investigations and evidence collection. Rescue One More helps remove these barriers by providing logistical support that enables cases of child sexual abuse to move forward quickly and effectively.
Our teams may assist with transportation for police officers to crime scenes, help coordinate the safe transportation of survivors to medical examinations, and support access to police surgeons and other professionals responsible for collecting forensic evidence.
Throughout this process, trained staff provide trauma-informed emotional support to children and caregivers, helping them understand what is happening, what to expect, and what steps will come next. By walking alongside survivors during these often frightening experiences, we help reduce anxiety and ensure children feel supported and cared for every step of the way.

Counseling, Mentorship, and Spiritual Care

Throughout the legal process, children and caregivers receive trauma-informed counseling, psychosocial support, and ongoing encouragement from trained professionals who help them process their experiences and build resilience.
Children participating in Rescue One More programs also receive support from caring mentors who help them develop confidence, leadership skills, healthy relationships, and a vision for their future.
For many children, healing includes spiritual restoration. Through Bible studies, discipleship, prayer, and faith-based mentoring, children are reminded of their God-given worth, dignity, and purpose. These relationships help nurture hope and provide a strong foundation for long-term healing and growth.

Instead, we work alongside police officers, prosecutors, probation and social welfare officers, and other child protection professionals to help coordinate services, strengthen case management, remove logistical barriers, and connect children and families with the resources they need.
