Grace_Nakalembe

Grace (Jackie) Nakalembe

Grace graduated from Makerere University with a degree in Social Work and Administration in 2016 and later pursued a certificate in Administrative
Law. Fueled by her passion for helping marginalized children and youth, Grace is dedicated to creating a future where children can grow up without fear. Prior to joining Rescue One More, Grace worked as a student support coordinator and program manager for Music for Life. In these positions she coordinated and managed teams of university students engaged in outreach programs for vulnerable children. She also served as a chaperone for children on a U.S. tour with the African Children’s Choir. Grace’s growth as a leader has been nurtured over the years through intensive training and mentorship programs. From her own experiences as an orphaned child, to the corridors of Makerere University, and to the heart of Rescue One More, Grace’s ambition is to be the beacon of change, lighting the path towards a brighter future for Uganda’s children and youth.

Rescue One More Social Worker & Program Manager, Sania Nakayiza

Sania Nakayiza

Sania graduated from Nkumba University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Management. Motivated by her passion for protecting women and children and giving back to her community, Sania’s career has centered around working with programs that empower the vulnerable. Prior to Rescue One More, she worked with refugees in Northern Uganda through Hope & Grace Ministries. She also served as a tour chaperone and resident assistant with the African Children’s Choir. Through the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) she worked on a United Nations Women’s program as a social worker implementing Safer Cities, a program focused on training government officials to keep children and women safe by eliminating gender-based violence. In her free time, Sania loves to travel, meet new people, and eat great local food!

Vanessa Lambie

Vanessa divides her time between working with Rescue One More and studying at Calvary Chapel Bible College. A survivor of sexual violence, Vanessa is the visionary and inspiration behind Rescue One More. She courageously shares her story of hope with audiences around the world to encourage others and bring an end to sexual violence. Vanessa graduated from Dripping Springs High School in May 2020 and currently attends Calvary Chapel Bible College.

Rescue One More Board Member, Sarah Lambie

Sarah Lambie

Sarah is the President and Co-Founder of Rescue One More. Prior to Rescue One More, Sarah ran a marketing consultancy focused on helping nonprofits around the world raise money and awareness. She began working in the non-profit space in 2009 while living in Uganda. From global entities like World Vision to missionary-run ministries, Sarah is passionate about helping Christian nonprofits achieve their marketing goals. Sarah also served as the African Program Manager for Work For Life, a non-profit organization working to fight poverty in Africa by training people to start and run sustainable businesses through its Entrepreneur Training Program. Prior to her time in Uganda, Sarah ran a public relations consultancy for software start-ups in Austin, TX. Sarah and her husband, Scott, have six children and currently reside in Austin, TX.

Rescue One More CEO & Co-Founder, Scott Lambie

Scott Lambie

Scott is the CEO and co-founder of Rescue One More. Prior to Rescue One More, he served as the director of development for the African Children’s Choir (ACC) where he worked for 12 years. Scott lived and worked in Uganda for seven years. While there, he helped lead the vision and construction of the ACC’s two 15-acre school campuses, was active in music ministries, and built trusted relationships with ministry partners around the world. Prior to his work with the ACC, Scott worked for an enterprise software company in Austin, TX. Scott and his wife, Sarah, have six children and currently reside in Austin, TX.
